Job Summary: The Startup Recruiter is responsible for sourcing attracting and hiring top talent for a rapidly growing startup. This role involves developing innovative recruiting strategies building a strong talent pipeline and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. The Startup Recruiter works closely with founders hiring managers and other key stakeholders to understand the unique needs of the startup and to ensure that the company attracts and retains the best talent to drive its growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and execute innovative and scalable recruiting strategies that align with the startups growth goals and culture.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs focusing on both technical and nontechnical roles.
- Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to understand the specific needs and challenges of the startup and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly.

Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
- Proactively source candidates through various channels including social media networking events job boards referrals and other creative methods.
- Engage with potential candidates promoting the startups mission culture and career opportunities.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications cultural fit and interest in the startup environment.

FullCycle Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting and sourcing to interviewing offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews working closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide a positive candidate experience maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.

Employer Branding:
- Help build and promote the startups employer brand by creating compelling content and leveraging social media and other platforms.
- Represent the startup at industry events job fairs and networking functions to attract top talent.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the startups reputation as an employer of choice in the market.

DataDriven Recruitment:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as timetofill costperhire and quality of hire to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for founders and key stakeholders.
- Use datadriven insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and make informed decisions.

Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Provide candidates with detailed information about the startups mission values culture and the specific role they are applying for.
- Manage the offer process including salary negotiation and ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the startup environment.

Onboarding and Integration:
- Work closely with HR and hiring managers to develop and implement effective onboarding programs that help new hires integrate quickly and effectively into the startup.
- Provide support to new hires during their initial weeks and months ensuring they have the resources and information they need to succeed.
- Gather feedback from new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve the onboarding process.

Building a Diverse and Inclusive Workforce:
- Implement recruiting strategies that prioritize diversity equity and inclusion ensuring that the startup attracts a diverse pool of candidates.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and promote an inclusive culture that values different perspectives and experiences.
- Monitor diversity metrics and adjust recruiting strategies as needed to improve diversity and inclusion outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of experience in recruitment with a focus on startup or fastgrowing environments.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices particularly in the startup ecosystem.
- Proven ability to develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
