Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Trainer and Assessor you will play a pivotal role in guiding and evaluating students throughout their educational journey. Your responsibilities include clearly explaining assessment requirements to students marking assessment tasks and conducting recognition of prior learning assessments based on student portfolios. You will provide constructive feedback and support to ensure students success while maintaining comprehensive assessment records. Additionally you will participate in validation and moderation meetings as needed and deliver engaging online sessions. Your role is essential in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the learning experience.
- Clearly communicate assessment requirements to students.
- Evaluate and grade assessment tasks.
- Perform recognition of prior learning assessments using student portfolios.
- Offer constructive feedback and ongoing support to students.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate assessment records.
- Attend validation and moderation meetings as needed.
- Conduct engaging online delivery sessions.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience working with Australian Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) in VET
- BSB30120 Certificate iii in Business Certificate III in Customer Engagement and BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management package
- Highly proficient assessor with attention to detail whilst marking.
- Highly motivated resourceful and able to work autonomously
- Solid ethics integrity respect and confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of Australia s VET system (including AQF and Standards for RTOs 2015) in Australia. Good to have:
