Job Description
- Provide consistency and clear expectations to support student success.
- Deliver engaging lessons using curriculum materials and educational software.
- Develop daily lesson plans and schedules that align with state and school requirements.
- Design and implement instructional plans for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Establish and maintain clear standards for student behavior to ensure a safe and structured learning environment.
Requirements
- Endorsement in Special Education
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Must be able to apply for a teaching license in the state of Illinois
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field
- Ability to develop and implement effective educational strategies to meet students goals
