Job Description
- Craft engaging lessons aligned with school and state standards to enhance ELL students language skills.
- Offer personalized support through individual and smallgroup instruction.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to incorporate effective language strategies across all subjects.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters participation and growth.
- Establish clear behavioral expectations to maintain a structured and positive learning space.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adapt instructional approaches to meet evolving needs.
Requirements
- An Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement is required.
- Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or in a related position.
- A strong ability to connect with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution (Master s degree in TESOL or a related field preferred).
