Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Estimator with a strong background in business development project management and production scheduling. This role will involve estimating project management for work orders and assisting in production scheduling working closely with various departments including shop supervision purchasing and detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts by engaging with customers to discuss proposed quotes project details and timelines.
- Prepare accurate estimates by interpreting blueprints specifications and understanding manufacturing practices opportunities and limitations.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to ensure seamless workflow across departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in estimating and project management within a machine or fabricating shop environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Experience with ASME Code (a plus).
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
