- The Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager is responsible for overseeing the design implementation and maintenance of the organization s information systems.

Requirements
System Management and Development:
- Oversee the design development and deployment of new information systems and enhancements to existing systems.
- Ensure the integration of MIS with other systems and applications across the organization.
- Manage and maintain the organization s database and ensure data integrity security and availability.
- Lead efforts to optimize system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Project Management:
- Plan execute and manage IT projects related to MIS ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for MIS projects.
- Monitor project progress manage risks and provide regular status updates to senior management.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain reporting systems that provide timely and accurate data to support decisionmaking.
- Ensure that the MIS meets the reporting needs of different departments within the organization.
- Analyze data trends and provide insights to support business strategies and operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the MIS team providing guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative environment and encourage continuous learning and professional development among team members.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the organization s MIS infrastructure adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the organization s data and information systems.
- Conduct regular audits of MIS systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software hardware and services to support the organization s MIS needs.
Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the MIS budget ensuring that expenditures align with organizational priorities and financial constraints.
- Identify costsaving opportunities without compromising system performance or security.
