- Assess the cost technical requirements and feasibility of client design proposals and specifications.
- Able to maintain professional in projects handled by preparing tender documentation evaluating and writing technical reports.
- Coordinate effectively with clients contractors government authorities and any other parties.
- Fulfil any additional duties assigned by project managers or directors and prepared for any adhoc tasks or projects.
- Undertake other assignments as necessary from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Engineering (Mechanical) or its equivalent from reputable universities in Japan.
- Malaysian and Japanese candidates with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the field and Malaysian candidates with pertinent experience in Japan will receive additional consideration.
- Possess strong critical and analytical thinking abilities demonstrating accuracy in calculations and design.
- Exhibit excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of project.
- Able to communicate effectively with contractors developers and regulatory officers.
- Display high levels of selfmotivation and adeptness in handling pressure.
- Showcase creative problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrate proficient technical skills and sound judgment in decisionmaking.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese is imperative for Malaysian candidates.

Professional engineering license (P.E.) or any equivalent certification. Having certifications in leadership, project management or business administration would be beneficial A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in project management and design Solid experience record of successfully managing complex projects and leading engineering design teams. Highly preferred to have extensive experience in geotechnical engineering solutions Excellent technical problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to comprehend and resolve complex engineering difficulties. Proven capability to liase efficiently with internal stakeholders, clients and consultant to provide high-quality engineering solutions. Expertise in coaching and advancing junior engineers to improve team performance and capabilities. Familiar with the industry regulation, standards and best practices related to engineering design and construction. Strong interpersonal and communication and capable to work well in multidisciplinary team environment. Prior experience working in an environment of a multinational corporation (MNC) would be beneficial.
