Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their fastgrowing team based in Nicosia. The company is a pioneer in their field of enabling digital transformation solutions for financial institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide. If you are a comunicative and detail oriented person with passion for tech then this position might be the perfect fit for you.
Main responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Understand and analyze business requirements features and technical implementation
- Document test cases and create test plans
- Design and/or develop automating scenarios
- Execute manual and automated testing
- Identify record document and track identified bugs
- Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts for clarification and reporting of malfunctions
- Investigate new tools technologies and testing processes
- Other related responsibilities
What were looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field
- Previous work experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in English
- Handson experience with automated testing tools (preferably Katalon)
- Experience with project management and/or issue tracking tools (preferably Jira)
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Ability to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members
- Customer service and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to keepup to date with deadlines
- Interest in learning new technologies
