We are looking for a highly organized and detailoriented Finance Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records processing transactions and ensuring accuracy in all financial operations.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices payments and financial transactions.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare and submit financial reports including income statements and balance sheets.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with VAT returns and other taxrelated duties.
- Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in finance or accounting (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g. Pastel QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
