Job Description
Overview
The General Surgeon plays a pivotal role in providing medical surgical care to patients in Gudur AP. They are responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with illness or injury requiring surgical procedures as well as providing pre and postoperative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures
- Conducting preoperative consultations
- Evaluating patients conditions and determining appropriate surgical procedures
- Coordinating with other medical staff for comprehensive patient care
- Prescribing pre and postoperative care and medications
- Participating in patient education and counseling
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Participating in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) and MS in General Surgery
- Valid state medical license
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general surgery
- Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures
- Strong understanding of surgical best practices and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
