We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience in backend development and demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js JavaScriptExpress.js. This role involves designing and implementing scalable APIs managing databases and developing robust serverside logic. If you are passionate about backend development and eager to work on cuttingedge projects we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- API Development:
- Design develop and maintain scalable and highperformance APIs.
- Ensure APIs are welldocumented robust and secure.
- Database Management:
- Design and optimize database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement data storage solutions and manage database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar.
- ServerSide Logic:
- Develop and maintain serverside logic to support frontend functionalities and business requirements.
- Implement and manage cloudbased services and infrastructure.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with frontend developers designers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
- Performance and Security:
- Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability.
- Implement security best practices to protect data and applications from vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 35 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java Python or Node.js.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable APIs.
- Experience with database management and serverside logic.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar.
- Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud Azure) and containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
