Overview
The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving the revenue growth for the organization by leading and managing the sales team. They are responsible for setting and achieving sales goals developing sales strategies and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager also plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Analyze sales data to develop sales strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Responsible for both field work and meeting & office work
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions for the team
- Provide ongoing coaching and development for sales staff
- Monitor the market and competitor activities to identify business threats and opportunities
- Manage and allocate sales territories and set targets
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in sales management
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Technical Sales experience is plus point
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of sales performance metrics
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
