Electrical Engineer

Role Overview: Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with robust design experience to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work from either the Lakeland or Nashville offices. The successful candidate will take on significant responsibilities in electrical engineering design and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering Design: Lead and execute the engineering design for various electrical projects.
  
• Project Management: Oversee all phases of electrical engineering projects from design development to construction documentation and specifications.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to ensure the integration of design intent into construction documents.
  
• Construction Support: Provide technical support during construction including responding to queries solving issues and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
  
• Client and Agency Relations: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients regulators and agencies.
  
• Document Management: Maintain accurate project documentation including meeting notes financial records and project schedules.
  
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of technical documents through thorough reviews at various project phases.
  
• Marketing and Business Development: Participate in business development activities including the preparation of project proposals and providing technical expertise.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with Tennessee licensure strongly preferred.
  
• 1015 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  
• Proven project management experience on design/build projects.
  
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles practices and techniques.
  
• Expertise in creating and interpreting integrated Construction Documents.
  
• LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  
• Strong organizational time management and communication skills.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word Excel and Outlook.
  
• Demonstrated experience in client interaction and working effectively in a team environment.
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 6 years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong emphasis on design.
  
• Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee; ability to obtain professional registration in additional states is preferred.
  
• Project Management: Extensive experience managing design/build projects.
  
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD with strong skills in using these tools for engineering design.
  
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
