Job Description

St. Patricks Home Rehabilitation and Health Care is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx NY.

Duties:
  • Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
  • Help establish and implement employment policies and procedures
  • Mentor less experienced nurses offering clinical & career advice
  • Maintain the standards of care for the unit
  • Review Resident records & quality of care
  • Monitor overall care & review individual Residents cases
  • Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
  • Represent the units interests with the upperlevel management
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
  • 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills

St. Patricks Home is a FaithBased facility located in the northwest section of the Bronx bordering scenic Van Cortlandt Park. Sharing in the Ministry of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 1931 the dedicated staff provides Long and Shortterm Care to the elderly meeting the physical spiritual and emotional needs of the residents as a part of the St. Patricks family where The Difference is Love.
