Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Houston team!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise/oversee transportation projects
- Lead a variety of projects/studies (roadway underground utility drainage traffic and infrastructure improvements)
- Build/maintain municipal client relationships
- Assist with developing new transportation project business including proposal/contract preparation project staffing and project interviews
- Manage local/Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients (local agencies DOT and/or Counties)
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Assist with staffing/hiring needs
- Develop design/quality control standards
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of project management experience
- PE License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Roadway/infrastructure design experience using TXDOT and County design criteria
- Experience working with municipalities and county staff
- May require occasional travel to job sites client meetings and evening functions
- Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
