Job description
To support and align major investments in the modernization of our infrastructure (network data center) the candidate will be expected to:
- Establish the strategy and roadmap for the infrastructure modernization program.
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to implementation teams.
- Collaborate with other enterprise architects to maintain the corporate roadmap.
- Monitor technological trends to recommend relevant business solutions and promising emerging technologies.
Aptitudes:
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with business partners project stakeholders and strategic technology partners.
- Ability to make decisions by understanding and explaining the tradeoffs between business implementation and economic impacts related to technological concerns.
- Excellent ability to simplify and transform complex concepts into accessible deliverables.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (an asset)
Requirements
Required Skills:
- At least 15 years of experience in information technology with a focus on infrastructure (GCP) and networking.
- At least 10 years of experience as an infrastructure architect preferably in manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in interacting with business sectors at a strategic level (Directors VPs and senior management).
- Ability to travel to the various offices of our client occasionally (Canada US).
- Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) in French and English.
Required: - 15+ years of experience in information technology (GCP), with a focus on infrastructure and networking. - 10+ years of experience as an infrastructure architect, preferably in manufacturing environments. - Demonstrated expertise in interacting with business sectors at a strategic level (Directors, VPs, and senior management). - Ability to occasionally travel to the various offices of our client (Canada, US). - Experience with LAN: Cisco WAN: Palo Alto Virtualization: VMware VDI: Nutanix Cloud: Google Cloud Platform EDR: Crowdstrike - Permanent resident or Canadian Citizen - Bilingualism (spoken/written) in French and English. Asset: - Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies
