Our team at Axpo supports the energy trading business with cuttingedge IT solutions for energy data management. We are in the midst of an exciting transformation driven by global trends market shifts and energy challenges. Our IT solutions must adapt to manage increased complexity speed and data volume. To strengthen our team we are seeking a young motivated individual to help elevate our Energy Data Management solutions to the next level. This role is ideal for a talented application engineer developer or technical business analyst with a passion for the energy industry and a desire to learn and make a direct business impact.
What you will do:
- Join a dedicated team managing software applications related to Energy Data Management
- Engage in activities ranging from application maintenance and support to participating in projects and helping to specify the application strategy
- Maintain close communication with business stakeholders gaining an endtoend understanding of business processes and proposing technical solutions
- Demonstrate responsibility and teamwork in all your tasks
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in IT engineering economics or a related field
- A few years of experience as an application engineer technical business analyst cloud engineer solution engineer developer or a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong team player
- Interest in the energy sector and/or trading
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud is an asset; willingness to develop in this area is required
- Proficiency in both German and English
About the team:
You will be part of a highly dedicated team responsible for critical IT applications both in the shortterm (operations) and longterm (projects). We work closely with business stakeholders IT architects infrastructure specialists and vendors to maximize the business value of our IT applications.
