For a long term project at our insurance client in Zurich we are looking for an experienced and handson Handson IT Business Analyst (Insurance)
Tasks
- Fastly build up understanding of business objectives and business rules to validate requirements identify holistic patterns for features and to ensure progress in line with strategic priorities and vision.
- Own assigned topics endtoend handson including related dependencies in and across teams process them diligently and on time through the life cycle
- Conduct elicitation and refinement sessions with subject matter experts and end users
- Create complete and precise solution/IT requirement specifications from business requirements. Make sure to pass the required quality gates on time
- Proactively prepare input for stream team sessions including Architect and Lead Developer to discuss your concepts and solution alternatives
- Engage in brainstorming sessions for scope planning and solution design across teams
- Support the delivery stream and Lead BA to help ensuring the deliverables are met
- Participate in testing (per sprint per release) as well as UAT and training activities
- Conduct post implementation activities including problem solving
Requirements
- Proven experience (3 to 5 years) as a handson Business Analyst will have to do core BA work up until testing and handing over to production
- Fluent in English any other language is a plus (but not a must)
- Proven experience in agile delivery environment feeling comfortable in complex global project setups and being able to work under pressure in a multivendor and multicultural team
- Sound experience in capturing complex business requirements translating them into abstract concepts then concise functional IT requirements and ultimately targeted input materials for testing and user training
- Very strong communication and cocreation skills
- Balanced mix of business acumen and technology savviness
