Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented QA Automation Engineer with Scripting skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing and automation with a focus on creating and maintaining automated test scripts. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Write maintain and execute automated test scripts using Scripting Language to ensure software quality.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Work with existing test automation frameworks and contribute to their enhancement and optimization.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary to validate new features bug fixes and other changes.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify document and track bugs in Bug Tracking Tool and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
- Test Planning and Documentation: Assist in the creation of test plans test cases and test documentation to support QA processes.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers product managers and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 13 years of experience in QA automation and scripting.
- Scripting Languages: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Scripting Language e.g. Python JavaScript Ruby.
- Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium Appium or similar.
- Manual Testing: Understanding of manual testing processes and best practices.
- Bug Tracking: Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira Bugzilla or similar.
- Version Control: Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Continuous Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development processes.
