Job Description

Note: This position does not offer any visa sponsorship. Only Candidates Located in Germany who speak fluent English and German (Fluent or Native) are eligible for this role


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and adjustment of information security policies.
  • Create and maintain security concepts guidelines work instructions and resource plans.
  • Integrate security requirements in close collaboration with various departments.
  • Support the investigation and analysis of security incidents.
  • Plan implement and continuously improve measures to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Organize and conduct internal security audits and prepare corresponding reports.
  • Advise and support departments on information security matters.
  • Conduct and coordinate training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Undertake general tasks related to information security according to current regulatory requirements (e.g. BAIT).

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in IT system administration and/or IT security.
  • Experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using IT security tools and technologies with solid knowledge of current threats and attack methods.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey complex issues.
  • Team player with initiative a structured and analytical approach to work.
  • Good command of both written and spoken German and English.
