Field Support Technician

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and configure wireless fiber and Ethernetbased networks at client premises.
  

• Install configure and optimize network systems to ensure efficient connectivity.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite.
  

• Perform installations and maintenance tasks including climbing radio towers and KPLC poles.
  

• Collaborate with senior technicians and team members to ensure quality work.
  

• Adhere to company guidelines and safety protocols during installations and support activities.
  

• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving issues and educating clients on network usage.
  

• Work flexible hours as required.
  

• Maintain accurate records of all troubleshooting maintenance and configurations.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Telecommunications Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field.
  

• Proven experience in a technical role within the telecommunications industry.
  

• Handson experience in installing configuring and maintaining telecommunications equipment and systems.
  

• Strong problemsolving abilities in a fastpaced environment.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customerfocused approach.
  

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  

• Physical fitness to climb towers and work at heights adhering to safety protocols.
  

• Familiarity with networking protocols such as DHCP IP VLANs and subnetting.
  

• Familiarity with Ubiquity/Cambium radios and MikroTik routers is an added advantage.
  

• Relevant certifications such as MTCNA CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
