Job Title: It Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Application and Backend Development:
  

  • Develop and maintain applications and backend services using C# ASP.NET MVC ASP.NET Core Web API JavaScript jQuery Node.js and CSS.
    
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
    
  • Utilize ASP.NET Core middleware to enhance functionality and performance.
    

• Web Services and UI/UX Design:
  

  • Develop and maintain web services; experience with MVC WCF and Web APIs is preferable.
    
  • Design and maintain user interfaces (UI) using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
    
  • Develop responsive web applications utilizing Bootstrap including layout design using Bootstrap s grid system and customization of components.
    

• Database Management:
  

  • Manage and optimize relational databases with significant experience in SQL.
    
  • Develop and maintain SQL Stored Procedures Functions and perform performance tuning.
    

• Scripting and Automation:
  

  • Automate tasks using scripted languages such as Bash PowerShell or Perl.
    

• Version Control:
  

  • Utilize GitHub Enterprise for version control and collaboration.
    

• Security and Compliance:
  

  • Ensure security best practices including understanding and implementing ASP.NET Core security features such as authentication authorization and data protection.
    
  • Obtain and maintain a Public Trust Tier 2 clearance level with a background check conducted through Capitol Police for network access.
    

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Technical Proficiency:
  

  • Strong skills in developing applications and backend services with C# ASP.NET MVC ASP.NET Core Web API JavaScript jQuery Node.js CSS and SQL.
    
  • Experience with developing responsive web applications using Bootstrap.
    
  • Proficiency in jQuery for DOM manipulation event handling AJAX requests and integrating jQuery plugins.
    
  • Familiarity with Razor syntax for dynamic content generation in ASP.NET Core views.
    

• Database Expertise:
  

  • Heavy experience with SQL including writing Stored Procedures Functions and performance tuning.
    

• Development Practices:
  

  • Understanding and application of MVC architecture and dependency injection principles in ASP.NET Core.
    
  • Experience with custom middleware implementation and familiarity with ASP.NET Core s security features.
    

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor s degree in an ITrelated field.

• Certified Software Development Professional
  
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional
  
• GitHub Actions Certification
  
• AWS Certified Developer
  

Additional Information:

• A Public Trust Tier 2 clearance level is required.
