Job Description

Job Title: Community Association Attorney

We are an executive search firm retained by an established and wellrespected boutique law firm based in Palm Beach County to assist in their search for a talented Community Association Attorney. This firm has built a strong reputation for providing toptier legal services in the areas of real estate and community association law and they are seeking a skilled attorney to join their team. This is an onsite position only.

Qualifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community association law
  • Strong expertise in interpreting governing documents providing governance advice preparing amendments and addressing fair housing issues
  • Indepth knowledge of community association law real estate law and related fields
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines effectively
  • Experience in delivering specialized training to board directors committees and managers

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions purchases financing and leasing
  • Assist in forming registering governing and ensuring compliance for residential commercial and mixeduse condominium associations
  • Provide expert guidance on community association law ensuring compliance with legal requirements and successful project completions
  • Represent developers lenders landlords and community associations in a variety of legal matters
  • Review analyze negotiate and draft legal documents including agreements deeds loan documents leases declarations and covenants
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of transactions ensuring timely closings and project milestones are met
  • Provide guidance on interpreting governing documents governance issues and fair housing compliance
  • Conduct training sessions for boards of directors committees and community managers
  • Participate actively in community association and industry organizations
  • Contribute articles to industry publications and engage in relevant chapter events

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida Bar license
  • Strong knowledge and experience in community association law and real estate
