Job Title: Financial Control Manager
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role at Idenfo and is responsible for overseeing various financial functions to ensure the companys fiscal health and compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer the incumbent will be involved in strategic decisionmaking processes financial planning and risk management. The role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills financial expertise and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Tax Treasury Payroll Financial and Management Accounting functions.
- Manage financial reporting including monthly reports budgeting forecasting yearly and longterm financial plans and statutory financial reporting.
Strategic Contribution:
- Provide sound financial support and insights to enable critical business decisions.
- Play a key role in the formulation of the organizations business strategy.
Taxation and Compliance:
- Manage and oversee the taxation affairs of the organization collaborating with external tax firms for specialist advice.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage and oversee the companys cash flow implementing appropriate controls.
- Oversee banking and borrowing arrangements.
Team Management and Development:
- Recruit train mentor and develop finance staff.
- Supervise and monitor the team of Accountant and Associate Finance.
Risk Management:
- Establish and maintain a solid risk framework for the business.
Commercial Decision Making:
- Oversee commercial decisionmaking processes including margin and pricing analysis.
Strategic Financial Recommendations:
- Advise on market changes and provide strategic financial recommendations to the management.
Budget and Accounting:
- Manage and track budget and accounting information.
- Approve or reject budgets.
Funding Consultation:
- Consult with company executives and key stakeholders about various funding options.
Investment Decision:
- Evaluate and decide on investments.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct profit and loss analyses.
- Present financial results and insights to the management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or a related field; MBA.
- Certification in ACCA CA or CFA will be preferred.
- 7 years of proven experience in a senior financial management role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
