Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the communications sector known for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence. They are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Financial Controller to lead their finance team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of financial operations and work closely with senior leadership in providing strategic insights.

Responsibilities;

• Financial Operations: Oversee the daytoday financial activities of the business ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments and locations providing essential financial insights.
• Cashflow Management: Manage cashflow projections and shorttomidterm forecasting.
• System Reconciliation: Supervise reconciliations across finance platforms to ensure accuracy in aged debt and other financial systems.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior finance staff with scope for progression as the team grows.
• Reporting: Produce monthly and quarterly management reports alongside yearend accounts preparation.
• Compliance & VAT: Ensure financial compliance and handle VAT preparation and filing across multiple entities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key stakeholders to support decisionmaking and provide financial recommendations.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• ACA ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• 2 years of postqualification experience (ideal for candidates transitioning from practice into industry).
• Strong accounting skills with proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Experience in leading teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
