JOB DESCRIPTION Sr. Cloud Engineer

Role: Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Coimbatore

Experience : 6 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and architect cloud solutions that align with business objectives.

Develop highlevel cloud architecture and migration strategies.

Deploy configure and manage AWS and Azure resources including virtual machines containers and serverless components.

Implement infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Ensure cloud environments are secure compliant and follow best practices for identity and access management (IAM) encryption and network security.

Implement security policies and perform regular audits to identify vulnerabilities.

Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

Set up monitoring alerting and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.

Optimize cloud resources for costefficiency while maintaining high availability.

Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams providing technical guidance and support.

Document cloud architectures configurations and processes for knowledge sharing and reference.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloudrelated issues as they arise.

Participate in oncall rotations if necessary.

Requirement:

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC) tools and automation (Terraform AWS CloudFormation Ansible etc.).

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

Expertise in cloud monitoring performance optimization and cost management.

Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g. Python PowerShell).

Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A proactive and selfmotivated approach to learning and staying uptodate with emerging cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS and Azure.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect certifications preferred.

Strong knowledge of cloud services including compute storage networking and databases.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC) tools and automation.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Experience with cloud monitoring and performance optimization.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
