As part of our regional growth plans, we are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (Structures) to work with our team in Qatar.

Principle Activities:

The Assistant Resident Engineer (Structures) will:
• Report to the RE (Structures) and will be assisted by the structures inspectors and land surveyors.
• Assist in checking the contractor’s submissions and shop drawings.
• Assist in responding to the contractor’s requests for information.
• Provide technical support to the team of structural inspectors.
• Liaise with the inspectors, materials technicians and land surveyors to ensure timely processing of the contractor’s requests for inspection (RFI) to ensure there are no undue delays.
• Work proactively to ensure that the programme of works is achieved.
• Assist the Planning Engineer to prepare the monthly status reports.
