Our sales team is the lifeblood of our company and we are looking for a Sales Coach who can elevate our SDR team to the next level.
Job Summary
The Sales Coach will play a critical role in shaping the future of our sales team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are performing at their highest potential adhering to company standards and continuously growing in their roles. The Sales Coach will be handson working directly with SDRs to train motivate and guide them towards becoming top performers. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence productivity and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and Manage Team Productivity:
- Ensure that all SDRs are present and actively working during their designated hours.
- Monitor daily activities and productivity levels ensuring that targets are being met.
- Implement systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
2. Call Monitoring and Grading:
- Regularly listen to and evaluate SDR calls providing constructive feedback and actionable insights.
- Use call grading systems to assess the effectiveness of sales techniques and communication skills.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in individual SDRs and develop personalized coaching plans.
3. Training and Development:
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new SDRs ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
- Provide ongoing training for existing SDRs focusing on skill enhancement and professional growth.
- Encourage continuous learning through recommended reading workshops and external courses.
4. Goal Setting and Achievement:
- Work closely with SDRs to set realistic and challenging goals both shortterm and longterm.
- Regularly review progress towards goals providing support and guidance to help SDRs stay on track.
- Celebrate successes and address any setbacks with a solutionfocused approach.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead daily morning and afternoon roundups to set the tone for the day and review daily performance.
- Foster a team culture centered around excellence accountability and a winning mentality.
- Act as a mentor and role model inspiring the team to achieve their full potential.
6. Proactive Coaching:
- Take a proactive approach to coaching continuously seeking new methods tools and strategies to enhance the team s performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends best practices and emerging tools that could benefit the sales team.
- Challenge the status quo never settling for mediocrity and always striving for improvement.
7. Performance Management:
- Address performance issues promptly and professionally implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct regular oneonone meetings with SDRs to discuss performance provide feedback and plan for future success.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming SDRs.
8. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process for new SDRs ensuring that candidates have the potential to succeed in a highperformance sales environment.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales coaching or management role within a BPO or staff leasing environment.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in sales with a deep understanding of sales techniques objection handling and closing strategies.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of SDRs to achieve high levels of performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear constructive feedback.
- Coaching: Passionate about coaching and development with a proactive approach to improving team performance.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data and use insights to drive improvement.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable able to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
