HHSRS Property Inspector

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rotherham to assist with the appointment of a HHSRS Property Inspector on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 85.00 106.32 per Hour

Responsibilities:

• The contractor will be provided with a list of geographical similar properties including landlord contact details with a live email address.
• The Authority will make contact with the landlord and tenant in the form of a S239 appt letter which provides notice of inspection within a one week window but with the opportunity for specific appointments to be made.
• The contractor will manage their own appointments. The contractor will have to provide a direct mobile telephone number for residents and landlords to use to ensure ease of contact / assess/ effective communication. They will also provide a similar number to their SPOC at the council.
• The Council will provide a Google based App to install on the contractors own mobile device which allows mobile inspections recording.
• The Council will provide training on the use of the APP prior to any inspections being offered.

Requirements:

• Contractors will be required to act professionally; this includes the way they dress which must be smart and not display any advertising or slogans. They must act with curtesy to clients and colleagues.
