istant Quantity Surveyor

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 161.98 202.88 per Day

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that plans are in place and continually up dated to achieve Service objectives and priorities..
• Actively assist and take ownership for designated detailed project commercial reports and maintain up to date at all times.
• Ensure that all project related risks and issues are identified to the Council.
• To carry out the necessary professional duties to effectively manage and coordinate commercial and cost matters on projects designated as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• To contribute and implement professional quantity surveying practice and procedures within Capital Programme Works Service.

Qualifications:

• Construction/Property related degree or extensive experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Experience of working as a Assistant Quantity Surveyor on both minor and major projects effectively managing and coordinating cost commercial and quantity surveying matters in both internal and external project teams clients stakeholders Contractors including quantity surveyor duties under various forms of contracts.
