Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in London to assist with the appointment of a Regulatory Support Officer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 19.25 24.03 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Initial triage and assessment of service requests registration planning and licensing applications
- Manage and maintain an accurate up to date database in line with service requirements
- Carry out alternative enforcement assessment checks at lowrisk businesses in line with service requirements directives
- Carry out onsite visits to businesses to gather intelligence and inform statutory inspection plans in line with statutory and service directives
- Log and respond to service requests and other notifications including Freedom of Information (FOI) requests regulatory directives
- To be proactive and flexible in approach to work and be willing to perform the full range of activities and functions that are undertaken within business support.
Qualifications:
- A level 3 qualification relevant to the service area
- Relevant short courses and learning relevant to the service area
- Training and support from authorised officers including onsite visits

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
