Job Description
CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION JUNIOR TO MID ASSOCIATE
Location: Charleston South Carolina
Our client a MidSized Southeastern Regional law firm with a national practice is seeking a highlyqualified and motivated Attorney to join their growing Construction Development & Condemnation Litigation Practice Group.
This role involves working on a wide range of complex construction litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex construction litigation matters including mediation arbitration and litigation in both federal and state courts.
- Handle a broad spectrum of litigation tasks from drafting pleadings to arguing motions and conducting depositions.
- Advise and assist clients in the negotiation preparation and review of construction contracts.
- Engage with clients and collaborate with a dynamic and experienced practice group.
Qualifications
- Candidate Profile: JD from a toptier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active bar license in South Carolina.
- 14 years of experience in complex construction litigation.
- Proven experience in drafting pleadings arguing motions and handling discovery including depositions.
- Exceptional research writing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- JD required. Active bar license in South Carolina required.
