Job Description

CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION JUNIOR TO MID ASSOCIATE

Location: Charleston South Carolina

Our client a MidSized Southeastern Regional law firm with a national practice is seeking a highlyqualified and motivated Attorney to join their growing Construction Development & Condemnation Litigation Practice Group.

This role involves working on a wide range of complex construction litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex construction litigation matters including mediation arbitration and litigation in both federal and state courts.
  • Handle a broad spectrum of litigation tasks from drafting pleadings to arguing motions and conducting depositions.
  • Advise and assist clients in the negotiation preparation and review of construction contracts.
  • Engage with clients and collaborate with a dynamic and experienced practice group.

Qualifications

  • Candidate Profile: JD from a toptier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active bar license in South Carolina.
  • 14 years of experience in complex construction litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting pleadings arguing motions and handling discovery including depositions.
  • Exceptional research writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • JD required. Active bar license in South Carolina required.
