Job Description

A national fullservice AmLaw 200 firm seeks a motivated Associate to join the Commercial Litigation team in our Richmond Virginia office. This position offers exceptional experience working with our attorneys and clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of litigation including conducting factual investigations and discovery preparing pleadings taking depositions and preparing substantive motions in Virginia state and federal courts. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • One (1) to five (5) years of commercial litigation experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Exceptional research writing and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
  • Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
  • Virginia bar admission required
