Supervise and train a team of stewards to ensure they are providing the highest level of service and maintaining cleanliness standards
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas of the ship are clean and wellmaintained
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies and equipment
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas of the ship are cleaned regularly and thoroughly
Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to cleanliness
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to stewards
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards
Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for the stewarding department
Train new hires and provide ongoing training and development for current stewards
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Stewarding Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role preferably in a hospitality or cruise industry setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
