Job Description
Object Technology Solutions Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Tech Writer 2.
Tech Writer 2 (Meridian ID )
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
Marketing Content Specialist
Develop content for product launch and positioning including FAQs web landing pages and social media
Develop content for marketing needs including long form articles articles that serve SEO needs video scripts infographics and newsletters
Analyze and interpret technical product specifications to generate enticing innovative and effective userbenefit content
Work with web and design teams to help support content development SEO content strategies and engagement initiatives
Drive ideation sessions with core stakeholders to reveal new insights that help tell compelling stories or lead to effective content
Research topics such as technology hardware business trends and gaming to develop creative story ideas. Interview subject matter experts to gather data insights and proof points to develop and back up core messages
Requirements
Develop and write effective communication for email messaging newsletters presentations social media videos and blogs
Identify key content objectives within a project and build a strategic plan and timeline to deliver that content
Break down large complex technology deployment information into clear concise communication for a broader audience
A portfolio illustrating a variety of writing styles across different consumer and business audiences
Outstanding ability to tell stories that engage inform and influence behavior
Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills
Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing
Attention to detail organized selfmotivated and able to balance priorities in a fastpaced environment
Ability and passion to learn about memory and storage products for data centers
Excellent research interview and learning skills
8 years of experience producing quality marketing content
BA/BS in English journalism marketing or PR preferred
Hybrid role with the need to work select days from our office in Meridian Idaho
Description: Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus. Must be proficient navigating in various operating systems such as Linux, Unix, CentOS, Windows10 or later, Windows Sever. Must be proficient in using MS products such as Office365, SharePoint, Teams etc. This person will work individually as well as part of a team and will need to work well with others.
