Job Description
Were looking for a highly skilled member to join our team as a technical expert in the area of voice complex operating systems.
Assist in the redesign and configuration of voice systems and voice applications.
Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications.
Working 8:30am 5pm Monday to Friday key duties include:
- Standard daytoday (BAU) voice core level 3 service operation
- Analyze and translate business requirements into engineering design and technical specifications to support customer and internal voice systems.
- Ability to make decisions to voice network issues to ensure cohesiveness
- Detailed Fault Recording and Incident management
- Vendor management
- Core softswitch management with vendor
- Management with SIP trunk (voice) vendors (for inbound/outbound) including capacity planning and DDI management
- Detailed Call Tracing as required for Tier 1 support staff
- Ensure sufficient monitoring graphing of all key systems
- Daily reviews of system logs monitoring alerts and graphs to ensure smooth capacity growth and operation
- Delivers results in support of achieving the organizations Service Level Agreements.
- Provides feedback to Vendor Management on the positives/negatives of approved vendors/supplier Ensure sufficient monitoring graphing of all key systems
- Being part of out of hour call cycle and escalation process
Requirements Technology/Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within the industry required
- Advanced Linux System Administration skills specifically CentOS in a fully virtualized environment
