Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Bar Manager in all aspects of bar operations including inventory management ordering supplies and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Prepare and serve a variety of drinks and cocktails to guests in a timely and friendly manner
Ensure that all guests are satisfied with their drinks and address any concerns or complaints
Assist with training new bar staff and ensure that all team members adhere to company standards and policies
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and provide exceptional customer service to all guests
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment
Assist with inventory management including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the bar and overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting
Strong knowledge of different types of drinks and cocktails
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
