Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Process Mapping & Analysis:
    • Work closely with city management and operations teams to document and analyze current processes ("as is" state) across various functional areas including public safety traffic management waste management and more.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in developing optimized workflows ("to be" state) for smart city integration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with key stakeholders from different city departments to gather detailed requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of their operational needs.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate findings and propose solutions that align with stakeholder objectives.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create clear concise and comprehensive documentation of business processes workflows and operational concepts.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project management teams to communicate findings and progress.
  • Support Development & Implementation:
    • Collaborate with the software development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Provide support during the implementation phase ensuring that the developed solutions meet the operational requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented processes and systems providing feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.


Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Management Information Systems Urban Planning or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 13 years of experience in business analysis process mapping or a related role. Experience in city operations municipal services or smart city projects is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g. BPMN flowcharts) is an advantage.
    • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically about complex processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in city operations and management.
  • Familiarity with smart city technologies IoT or digital transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Visio and PowerPoint.
