Work closely with city management and operations teams to document and analyze current processes ("as is" state) across various functional areas including public safety traffic management waste management and more.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in developing optimized workflows ("to be" state) for smart city integration.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with key stakeholders from different city departments to gather detailed requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of their operational needs.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate findings and propose solutions that align with stakeholder objectives.
Documentation & Reporting:
Create clear concise and comprehensive documentation of business processes workflows and operational concepts.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project management teams to communicate findings and progress.
Support Development & Implementation:
Collaborate with the software development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Provide support during the implementation phase ensuring that the developed solutions meet the operational requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented processes and systems providing feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Management Information Systems Urban Planning or a related field.
Experience:
13 years of experience in business analysis process mapping or a related role. Experience in city operations municipal services or smart city projects is highly desirable.
Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g. BPMN flowcharts) is an advantage.
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically about complex processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in city operations and management.
Familiarity with smart city technologies IoT or digital transformation projects.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Visio and PowerPoint.
