Responsibilities:
- Process Mapping & Analysis:
- Work closely with city management and operations teams to document and analyze current processes ("as is" state) across various functional areas including public safety traffic management waste management and more.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in developing optimized workflows ("to be" state) for smart city integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders from different city departments to gather detailed requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of their operational needs.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate findings and propose solutions that align with stakeholder objectives.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Create clear concise and comprehensive documentation of business processes workflows and operational concepts.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project management teams to communicate findings and progress.
- Support Development & Implementation:
- Collaborate with the software development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide support during the implementation phase ensuring that the developed solutions meet the operational requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented processes and systems providing feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Management Information Systems Urban Planning or a related field.
- Experience:
- 13 years of experience in business analysis process mapping or a related role. Experience in city operations municipal services or smart city projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g. BPMN flowcharts) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically about complex processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in city operations and management.
- Familiarity with smart city technologies IoT or digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Visio and PowerPoint.
