Gigalabs (Pvt) Ltd. is a leading technology company that provides innovative solutions for businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a Senior Java Liferay Developer to join our team on a contract basis.

As a Senior Java Liferay Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Liferaybased applications for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and other developers to understand client requirements and deliver highquality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain Liferaybased applications

Collaborate with project managers and other developers to understand client requirements

Develop custom portlets themes and layouts for Liferay applications

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Liferay applications

Create technical documentation for Liferay applications

Stay updated with the latest Liferay versions and features

Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers

Qualification and experience
A university degree in Software Development or related fields is desired;
At least 5 years of Liferay development experience;
At least 7 years of Java development experience;
Java and Liferay Certification would be advantageous;
Proficiency with information architecture knowledge management and metadata is required;
Experience of development deployment and administration of applications built with Liferay DXP 7.4 for at least 1 year would be an advantage;
Demonstrable experience of development deployment and administration of applications built with Liferay DXP 7.0 for at least 3 years;
Previous experience with Liferay DXP migration projects;

Contract Details:

This is a contractor position with an initial contract duration of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance and project requirements. The Senior Java Liferay Developer will work remotely with occasional onsite meetings as needed.
