Position: Commis
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards set by the company
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Collaborate with the team to create new and innovative menu items
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and dietary restrictions
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Commis or in a similar role in a professional kitchen
Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
