Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Officer to play an integral role in a committed multidisciplinary team.
39 hours Permanent FullTime
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the implementation of the hospital s audit schedule and assist with the completion of audits and audit related findings & recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Head of Quality Risk Compliance & Patient Administration and department heads to prepare for annual inspections by regulators such as the Mental Health Commission Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor Health & Safety Authority.
  • Promote a positive incident reporting and management culture.
  • Assist in system analysis reviews following the occurrence of serious incidents.
  • Assist with the system administration of QPulse and other ICT systems as required.
  • Support with the maintenance and management of quality & risk electronic databases.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Head of Quality Risk Compliance & Patient Administration.



Requirements

  • 3rd level qualification (degree or above) in a healthrelated field is essential.
  • Post graduate qualification in Healthcare Quality/Risk Management is preferable/an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience of the outlined key duties & responsibilities in a relevant clinical/healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of mental health services.
  • Delivering quality safety and fairness to service users.
  • High proficiency in IT for example: quality management system electronic patient record Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Data analysis and data presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates innovative and strategic thinking.
