We are a leading provider of Bulk Material Handling Equipment based in Pittsburgh. Serving industries such as steel energy mining and minerals we offer a supportive work environment and excellent employee benefits. We are currently seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop equipment specifications for motors variable speed drive systems and PLC control systems.
  
• Create and maintain electrical drawing packages.
  
• Program PLCs HMIs and drive systems to ensure equipment meets performance requirements.
  
• Conduct factory acceptance testing for electrical control systems.
  
• Oversee equipment startup commissioning and provide training.
  
• Offer troubleshooting support for existing equipment.
  
• Light travel may be required.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  
• 5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering.
  
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI application and programming including Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs Allen Bradley Red Lion and Wonderware HMIs.
  
• Experience with DC and AC variable speed drive systems including startup programming tuning and troubleshooting.
  
• Familiarity with DCS systems is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of NEC NFPA and other industrial standards.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
