Job Description

Great opportunity for a Structural/Bridge Engineer looking for a company with growth!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead design/prepare plans estimates and specifications for bridges
  • Perform structural analysis/design with a focus on Illinois Highway and Tollway structures
  • Review shop drawings
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Build/maintain client relationships
  • Inspect bridges and highway structures

Requirements:

  • Master s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
  • 5 years of structural design of bridges experience per IDOT standards
  • PE SE registration
  • Experience in bridge inspection/qualification per FHWA
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design programs preferred
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
