Site Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a growing team with a reputable Tier 3 commercial builder based in Melbourne. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of commercial projects ranging from $5M to $30M. This is a hands-on leadership role where you ll manage on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. With a strong pipeline of work across education, retail, and commercial developments, this role offers stability and exciting challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the on-site management of commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate daily site operations, managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and WHS compliance.
• Monitor project schedules, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on budgeting, timelines, and progress reporting.
• Conduct site meetings, resolve on-site issues, and manage project risks.
• Ensure high standards of quality and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and manage communication channels.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or 2 builder.
• Experience delivering projects valued between $5M and $30M.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance on-site.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant qualifications in building and construction (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred).
• A deep understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and WHS regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software and project documentation.
