Job Description:
As an Accountant you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial information to help the company make wellinformed decisions ensure legal compliance and improve financial operations. You will perform a variety of accounting tasks including financial reporting budget management and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable including processing invoices payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Perform monthly quarterly and annual closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal tax regulations; prepare and file tax returns as required.
- Conduct financial audits and implement necessary internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles tax regulations and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in manufacture agriculture or construction industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or other relevant software).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
