Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Tax Compliance Officer to ensure that our organization adheres to all tax regulations and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing tax filings ensuring compliance with local and national laws and advising on best tax practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns including VAT corporate tax and payroll tax.
- Review and interpret tax laws ensuring the company remains compliant with changes in legislation.
- Maintain uptodate tax records and document all taxrelated processes.
- Identify and mitigate any potential tax risks developing corrective strategies when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address any taxrelated queries.
- Conduct internal tax audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
- Provide tax advisory services to departments regarding taxefficient processes and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance preferably in a corporate environment.
- Indepth knowledge of local and national tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation:
- Salary: $55000 $75000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
