Job Description
Waiter Cruise Ship
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and escort them to their tables
Present menus and make recommendations based on guests preferences
Take and serve food and beverage orders
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in delivering orders to guests
Handle any special requests or dietary restrictions
Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Handle payments and process orders through the POS system
Upsell menu items and promote special offers
Build and maintain relationships with guests to ensure their satisfaction
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company
Requirements:
Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
Familiarity with POS systems
Ability to work in a team and independently
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Basic math and computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
