Job Description

Ramada by Wyndham Manama City Centre is now seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team in Bahrain.

Job Summary

The Marketing Executive is responsible for developing implementing managing and evaluating marketing campaigns promoting the hotels products and services. He/she will majorly enhance brand awareness drive web traffic and acquire leads/customers. He/she is also responsible for developing the annual marketing plan and budget.

Education & Experience

  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media Google AdWords and email campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Net Insight Web Trends etc.)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

General Requirements

  • Responsible for managing and delivering the daytoday marketing activities for the Hotel in line with the agreed marketing strategy to support the delivery of hotel revenue targets.
  • Responsible for the management and growth of the hotel data and the targeted use of the database.
  • Contribute to the creative process from creative brief to delivery for all hotel communications collateral and websites (both internal and external) and the creation of copy to support this in cooperation with the Wyndham Corporate Office.
  • To manage and coordinate the hotel communications plan to ensure that all communications are targeted at the right audience and delivered on time. Ensure all activity fits into the estate communications plan to avoid duplication or over communication to the database.
  • Responsible for tracking campaign success to enable us to understand the return on investment of each activity and aid future promotion plan through effective reporting.
  • Responsible for planning and organisation and contribution to the creative briefing process in conjunction with the venues marketing of all photography shoots events and promotional activity relevant to the hotel business.
  • Management of design/third parties agencies in relation to the hotel business.
  • To ensure that all activity carried out is managed within the Wyndham standards.
  • Ensure that the best possible rates are achieved through suppliers when ordering materials and services.
  • Attend departmental meetings if required and update the corporate team on a regular base.
  • Create content artwork & flyers for hotel facilities activities & promotions.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Able to do photoshoots & video shoots for the events or promotions happening in the Hotel & promote it via Social media along with Managements approvals
  • Conceiving and developing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends brand awareness and competition ventures
  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures press releases website material etc.)
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
  • Develop and manage all internal communication systems.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into userfriendly concepts.
  • Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist in the production of all promotional material including gathering of supporting data and collateral material
  • Responsible for the production of a monthly marketing report for the hotel detailing key achievements activity undertaken and future key initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to share knowledge best practice and experiences.
  • Support in the management of press events and where appropriate supporting the other departments during key areas of activity.
