Role Description:
Founded in 2017 Knot9 is a genuine effort to create Indias largest library of stock footages with Indian models in an Indian environment. Our aim is to produce affordable and highquality Indian stock content and footage that can be purchased and used by Indian and international content creators.
We specialize in largescale video content creation. It could be for edtech companies the retail industry education course content or any other domain/industry that needs a large number of videos.
Our expertise lies in building teams and setting processes to create video content at scale. We come from technical and production backgrounds so we very well understand the technical aspects of largescale content creation for different types of platforms.
Role
A Video Editor is responsible for transforming raw video footage into compelling visual narratives. This role involves the skillful use of video editing software primarily Final Cut Pro to create engaging and highquality videos.
Description
- Video Editing:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into a cohesive and engaging storyline.
- Cut splice and synchronize video and audio clips to maintain proper flow and pacing.
- Apply transitions effects and graphics to enhance visual appeal.
- Color correct and grade footage to achieve desired look and feel.
- Audio Editing:
- Sync audio with video ensuring lipsync accuracy.
- Balance audio levels add sound effects and incorporate background music.
- Remove unwanted noise and improve audio quality.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with directors producers and other team members to understand project goals.
- Provide input on creative concepts and storyboarding.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions effectively.
- Project Management:
- Organize and manage video files assets and project timelines.
- Meet deadlines and adhere to project specifications.
- Ensure video quality and consistency across projects.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertlevel proficiency in Final Cut Pro including advanced features and workflows.
- Knowledge of other video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Understanding of video formats codecs and resolutions.
- Proficiency in video and audio file management.
